What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? nevada
If a person is court ordered to a program that charges a fee and the only way possible to pay this fee would be to give up my residence,my home, because the only income I have is SSI (Disability)The judge did not tell me that this program charged a fee for their services or ask me if I could afford this fee.I understand that he should have. Now I am in a group home for alcohol & drug abuse and I do not do ither. When I get out I will be homeless,What can I do? Thank You

How is this group home paid for ?

Medicaid ?

If so you could possible work with a social worker ,have Medicaid pay .

Then the State may agree to pay and put a lien on your property ,so when it's sold ,the State will be reimbursed .

Check it out .

What crime did you commit ?
