My response:

What do you care ? If he's your "STBX", then it's really none of your business. It's between him and the judge. So, back off.

My response:

I'll ask you one, last, time. If you fail to answer this time, I'll just let your post fall down the stack in this forum, and into oblivion. So, here's your last chance, and be extremely specific with your answer.

His problem may have to do with your case, but not directly - - it's "tangential" to your case, having no direct bearing on you or your end of the case.. His problem is between him and the judge, for his failure to follow the court's orders "to the letter."

So, if he's your STBX, why do you care what happens to him ? What business is this of yours ?

My response:

You see, that wasn't too difficult was it ?

All you had to do was to put this information in your initial post, and then I could have better understood where you were headed with this, and your concerns.

For all I knew (or anyone, for that matter), there were no children involved, and no concern about Grandparents. Now, were getting somewhere with your latest response.

If he should go to jail for contempt of court, you get to keep your children while he's incarcerated. The grandparents have no right to visitation, for two reasons:

1. They are not part of the "visitation order".

2. You have the Supreme Court case of "Troxel vs. Granville" on your side. As the parent, you have the final say-so who sees, or who doesn't see, your children.

If your STBX cannot exercise his visitation, for whatever reason, then he should have thought about that before he became a contemnor of the court's Orders. But, no matter how the court rules, or what the court does with him, if the Grandparents want to see your children, and you don't want to allow such visitation, then you are within your rights to say "No."

My response:

Yeah, I know. Sometimes I'm just too generous with my time and knowledge. But, our writer was so concerned about nothing that I just had to investigate a little more as to why there was so much concern on her part. I mean, normally, who gives a rat's ass about an ex-spouse being in contempt of court - - unless, of course, our writer still cared for the guy. But, as it turned out, that wasn't the case, either.

But, as we all see, there was, in fact, some legitimacy to our writer's concerns - - and I just had to dig for it. Sometimes, all it takes is just a little more facts to give some sense to a post and, what our writer left out from her intial post was absolutely necessary information.

Our writer's concerns have been snuffed out.

You're correct. You are too generous!

It's odd that individuals cannot manage to post what State they're from, but they CAN fill their posts with such emotion and little fact. Scary!

Some things around here never change, do they? LOL

My response:

It doesn't matter if you've said "Florida" a hundred times in the past. It is your responsibility (See the RED words up there) to place your State name in each and every post you write. If you don't, you take a chance on not having your questions answered. It is not our responsibility, as the ones with the answers for you, to go "hunt down" your prior posts for your State name. I didn't know your State name. So please, don't assume.

It just so happens, that this time, your State name was not required - - but, it could have for all you knew. Correct ?
