Hi All!
Sorry my update is late.
Court went pretty good.
Ex sobbed like a baby the whole time, it was kind of pathetic.
The clincher was these recent charges.

Judge ordered him to substance evaluation and testing.
Ordered all overnights are at his Mom's.

Ex started sobbing and asked if he could still take son to Canada.
Judge said, not unless your Mom plans on going.

We went back and forth on a new custody order.
Judge ordered a meeting with ex's attorney and me to come up with a custody order and is scheduling to see us again in 30 days to finalize an order.

All in all I am happy. I wish all could have been resolved, but at least the major issues are handled.

Good for you. I was wondering what happened. So g'mom gets to still see the kids and ex gets to see the kids at g'moms until his issues are resolved (which then it will be back to court) and you go from there.
Congrats Bononos. Court NEVER goes quickly.

Thanks!
The judge was pretty cool, so I am hopeful things will go well.
She was ANGRY that ex filed contempt for enrolling son in preschool/daycare.
She believes it is very beneficial to a child.

Glad to hear it went well, I know we have all been thinking about you. Forgive me if I don't feel sorry for him, apparently he feels sorry enough for himself.

Judges do NOT like it when parents start acting like idiots on contempt when it is beneficial to the child. Preschool beneficial. Denial of parenting time -- NOT BENEFICIAL. Those types of things. Glad it worked out.

If dad is up on charges, he can't take HIMSELF to Canada, let alone your child, even if his mom goes with him. Don't let that trip happen even if grandma is going along.

He must not thought of that one. Neither did I.

Just another amusing assinine thing he has done today.

My fiancee was at a gas station/mini-mart, alot of our local police get their coffee there.
He overheard two of them talking, one said "do you that that (my ex's name)?
I just busted him riding a quad that he just bought, no papers, on the street.\

Wow! Again, he does something just plain stupid!

Plus, funny how he collects unemployment, but buys a quad.

How could I have married and concieved with such an a-hole?
