What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I received in the mail California form TR-215. I am just a little confused about the court's findings. Under section 3, it says "THE COURT FINDS" and there is a box for "not guilty", a box for "guilty" and a box for "dismiss". The "dismiss" box is checked, and toward the bottom, it says that the total bail is to be refunded, which leads me to believe that I won my case, but why was "dismiss" checked and not "not guilty"?

Possibly because the officer never answered, requested that the ticket be dismissed or there was a legal issue with the ticket written.
