I advertised some solar panels on Craig's List and they sold almost immediately. the guy paid me for them over a month ago, but they are still in my garage as he is having trouble finding someone to help him move them. I am needing my garage space freed up - can I call him to come get his money back and sell them to someone else, or am I obligated to keep storing them?

Do you have a way to contact him in WRITING?? If so, send him a letter (certified RRR AND regular 1st class) telling him that he has two weeks (or whatever is reasonable) to make arrangements to remove his property from your garage and that if he doesn't, you will consider it abandoned and dispose of it WITHOUT RECOURSE.

Personally, I'd give him two weeks to actually REMOVE the items ;)
