Hi everyone and congratulations for doing all this amazing job.
I've just wanted to ask you about a site that I've found with pictures and videos under Creative Commons 0 (CC0). I want to resell their content (in an online marketing services site) which it's ok with the rules (CC0) but some pic/videos have peolpe in it and the limitations is this:
a) Images and Videos depicting identifiable persons may not be used for pornographic, unlawful or other immoral purposes, or in a way that can give a bad name to people, or to imply endorsement of products and services by those persons, brands, organisations, etc.
b) Since www.(XXX).com does not require a written Model Release for each Image or Video that shows identifiable people, We cannot guarantee that You will be able to use the Content for any purpose You like.
c) Certain Images or Videos may be subject to additional copyrights, property rights, trademarks etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights. www.(XXXX).com does not represent or make any warranties that it owns or licenses any of the mentioned, nor does it grant them.
As for the b) and c) limitation I am going to choose only under CC0 content.
My problem is if my buyer uses the content that I have sold him against the limitations. Who gets the blame? In order to ensure myself what can I do?
I can send them an email and inform them that the content is under CC0 and the limitations(a). Do you think this is the right thing to do?
Thank you in advance and sorry for the long copy.
