I'm from Georgia. I received an invitation in the mail from Fleet Credit Card Service (Mastercard). It stated that I could transfer balances over to this card at a 7.99% FIXED RATE, not introductory. As of April, they increased the rate to 10.5%. I heard that Fleet is presently in a lawsuit because of this. Is this legal if they stated to me that it was FIXED, not introductory?
