What is the name of your state? OHIO

Hello,

My father passed away leaving a large debt to a credit card company. My brother had lived with my father until the time of his death. In August of 2002, my father "quit claimed" his house to my brother.

A lawyer for the credit card company called my brother on the phone today and insisted that they could take his house to pay off my father'ss debt. Is that possible? My father left no estate at all.

Thanks for your help,

David in OHIO
