What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Vt. Legal question? I agreed I owed on a credit card after being served for court, I told the courts I woulld be able to pay 10.00 a month on card. The court order went into affect Jan 3 this year. I sent a money order for the 10.00. It was cashed. Now I received another notice that they do no agree to the 10.00 and want another court hearing and financial disclosure. Which is fine, but, once they cashed that money order isn't it now an agreed contract? Thanks

It is not a contract. It is a court order. They can ask for a modification of that court order.

$10 a month is not even worth their time to process and is frankly pathetic. You might as well be trying to pay in pennies. I'm not surprised they aren't happy with it.
