What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida.

I lived in Florida and had a credit card that was not being paid. I was served by an attorney a law suit for 8K in 2013. We never went to court as we settled on a monthly payment plan that I still pay. Attorney in Florida filed in Florida a stipulation for payments and to withhold judgement with the court. I recently have moved out of the state of Florida. If I stop payments what happens now that I have moved out of state?

If the suit remained open, the creditor has the stipulation entered and is awarded a judgment. If the case was closed, they refile the suit and have the stipulation acknowledged by the court and walks out with a judgment.

Then, depending what state you moved to they probably have a much better chance of collecting their money.
