What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon

Spouse got divorced and within the divorce the parties agreed on which credit cards both parties would be responsible for paying. The problem is the ex-husband is not paying the card that he agreed to pay. Collection agency is calling, Is his non-payment of the credit card considered a breach of contract or contempt of court. A judge did sign the divorce as both parties agreed upon the terms set down. What are the spouses options?

Thank you

If your name is on the credit card, make the payments to protect your credit, but in the meantime file for contempt against the other party.

It's a contempt matter. In the mean-time, keep in mind that the credit issuer is not a party to the decree. The person who opened the account is responsible to the credit card company, regardless of what it say in the divorce decree.
