If my husband charges a large amount on his credit cards and then he passes away, am I (his wife) responsible for his debts on these credit cards? Please note that his name is the only name on the credit card, and the card company won't let me access the account. We live in Mass. He is disabled and sometimes his bills exceed his limited income.
