What is the name of your state? Arizona

a year ago my husband lost most of his business clients due to his partners bad management practices. we got to a point where financialy all we had was survival money and nothing left for our credit card bills and our car was repo'd in the process. now we are in a position to make some kind of payment on these outstanding credit card bills but the collection agencies only want a lump sum of money. we no way have what they are asking for. now they are threatening law suits and taking our home away by placing a lein and starting forclosure on our property. we are scared our home is all we have. is there any other way to settle with these companies?

They are not required to accept payment options, just as you don't have to accept payments for people who owe you money. Have you considered bankruptcy?
