Hey people...I just turn 18 2 weeks ago and had my first credit card. I know how to use it online to make purchases but how do you use in in stores. I saw my parents first swipe the card...and then....

Most stores have a "machine" where you (yourself) swipe the card, etc. (indicate debit or credit, & ok (verify) the amt.) - some places you hand the card to the clerk & they swipe it, etc. If you are at a place where they have the swipe it yourself "machine" and you don't know exactly how to do it, just ask the clerk - they will help you.
Congrats on getting your 1st credit card but please be careful you don't get into credit card debt. Do I sound like your Mother? )
