I have been talking with a credit counseling service about my credit card balance problem. I have an appointment next week to personally see someone there. I have told the collection agency about my conversation with the credit counselling service without actually mention the type of company it is. However, through my general conversation with the credit card collection agency they said they would not talk, deal or have any business with a credit card collection company. Is this true, or can the collection agency be forced to deal with a credit counseling service? The credit card collection agency have unreasonable demands, at this point, about any repayment plans.

The CA does not have to deal with a credit counseling service. You really need to make sure that the organization your are dealing with isn't a scam.
