What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WI

If the energy company sends you a bill for $60, you write a check and send it to them, and then your bank statement shows it was never cashed, but then the next bill comes to you with a $400 credit on it, what should you do? I've heard if you get something you didn't order or ask for, you're allowed to keep it. Does that count in a case like this?

Yes, this just happened to me and am wondering what to do, if anything, now.
