What is the name of your state? PA
Hubby and I plan to buy a house within the next year or two. Currently he has a home that was near foreclosure w/ a terrible credit rating (468) while I own my townhome w/ a 685 credit score. We plan on selling his house (once we get it fixed up...hopefully soon) then start looking.

What credit score would they use for a mortgage? Due to my income (under 40k) I would not qualify for much, but need my score to offset his. How does that work?

thank you
