Credit Report Question

What is the name of your state? PA

I pulled my husbands credit report and had a question.
The report shows dates: Date opened, Date of status, reported since and Last reported.
The account in question shows 180 days as of Nov 2000
The last reported date shows Sept 2005

My question is what does the "Last reported" date mean??

The date last reported is the last time that updated information on the account was received by the Credit Reporting Agency.
