What is the name of your state? FL
We're going to the confirmation hearing tomorrow. The trustee issued an "unfavorable" recommendation. I have objected and cited other pending litigation and the likelihood of hidden assets (I have some documentation to that effect) along with a demonstrable, persistent pattern of misrepresentations and omissions.
The trustee basically told me that even a lonnnnng list of lies and errors on the filing won't matter unless we can SHOW THEM THE MONEY. Which is to say, if I can't go in there and prove that there is $100,000 in stock sitting in some brokerage account, then it's probably going to be confirmed.
Anyone have some experience with the likelihood of this? And what can I expect in terms of having to go in there and make my case against the debtor? There's me and one other pro se objector, the trustee, the debtor and attorney. Can't picture just how all this is going to play out...
