i was arrested for the first time for failure to return a rent-a-car in time...i missed the court date because the notice was not received...was contacted by the bail bonds man...that i have missed the court date...and stated that i have to get a court date reset by an attorney or a warrant will be issued for my arrest...seeked the advice of lawyer...have not recived a court date and the bail bonds men are staying that i have a warrant for my arrest....what can i do to reset court? will i be able to get the warrant lifted after the court date is reset?
