What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Federal law in California.

Hello.
I am an American citizen, born and raised in California. I have lived the last 10 years in Europe. During this time, I have found out that there is an outstanding Federal warrant for my arrest for a blue collar crime.

I have to travel to Mexico this month and I was worried about traveling to a country that might be in cooperation with the US like Canada has: "an information sharing agreement with the United States".

My question is: Is it a possibility that the Mexican authorities might arrest me at the passport check at the airport when I arrive because of my US arrest warrant? Do they have the authority to do so?
Thank you,
Bob Orr

I am no tsure what a "blue collar crime" is, so it is hard to say whether you are on some sort of watch list. Unless what you did is really bad, I doubt they are going to be watching the itineraries for other countries.

How have you managed to stay abroad for 10 years? Certainly if you are a fugitive your visa has been revoked.
