There's not going to be any free way. It will cost you around $20.

most states have a web portal to search public records ( i did it last night on a guy i have a pending suit against )
this may point you in the proper direction to find a good link

the trick is finding the link thru your states website..it should be a searchable public record that anyone can do

You can also go TO the courthouse in question and ask to inspect the record. Inspection should be free, though copies might cost a few dollars.
