What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland

Can a felon, convicted in Federal court of a non-violent crime and now finished with sentance and probation, own / use a crossbow for hunting / personal protection?

Was the non-violent felony "any Federal or State offenses pertaining to antitrust violations, unfair trade practices, restraints of trade, or other similar offenses relating to the regulation of business practices"?

If so, you are not federally prohibited from owning firearms.

Depending on the actual sentence, he may not be subject to any Maryland firearms ban either, but he asked about crossbows.

Am I the only one that started singing, "Just good ole boys, never meaning no harm..." when you started reading this thread?
