My son is 16 and was arrested early this morning because he was breaking curfew. The officer charged him with violation of curfew and loitering. The officer said he will have to go to juvenile court. That it is a 3rd degree misdemeanor. What kind of juvenile laws are there for these charges? what kind of punishment do you think he is looking at?

What time was he arrested? Most towns handle their own curfews from my experience. The county I live in has a different curfew than the county over from me does.
