What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
AZ, Mesa Im 17 and a half and a probation officer claimed that she could detain me till I was 18 because I was arrested for a curfew violation. My parents told her all the "bad" stuff i do like how I smoke bud, go out when i want, blah blah blah. After they spilled thier guts she said she would take all that into consideration when deciding my punishment although none of it is relatvant to that single incident of me getting arrested, by the way that's the only time I've ever been arrested. My question is, Can she legally detain me till my 18th birthday, which is over 5 months away, for a curfew violation? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I was going to say yes - and that I've had a judge in the past who used to get really pissy about curfew.

But - you're not actually on probation yet right? If I read that right.

You would be well served by detention.
