texas. I have an aquaintance who was convicted with 3rd degree felony dui in denton county. The person got 7 years probation with interlock restriction on drivers license. person lives in tarrant county so probation was transferred to tarrant county from denton county. probation officer found out the person was driving without interlock and had been for sometime. The person said that he put in revocation for probationand the individual had to go to denton county for a probation hearing with probation office. the person is behind in court payments, hasnot made alot of effort on community service, and has been without a job for the last 6 out of 8 months. What will they do to this person and what are the legal procedures on this? just curious if they will give them another chance on their probation or what.

- late payments
- no community service progress
- no interlock

I think Probation Office will ask court to revoke probation.

he have a GOOD chances to go to jail.

kinda what i thought and thanks for the feedback. the person was supposed to go to hearing with denton county last wednesday. haven't heard from person and really no good way of contacting them. I think the probation propably told them to get thier house in order because very high chance of getting arrest warrant put on them. Just my line of thinking.

Too bad bullets are illegal when it comes to drunk drivers who endanger the lives of those around them so they can drink their beer or whiskey or whatever the hell they drink before having a fun ride home.

This person can, and should be, thrown in jail.

got word yesterday that the supposed little hearing went good so evidently the person just got slapped on the wrist. is there no justice in this?
