I currently have had a LLC registered in the State of Washington for the past 2 years. I'd like to trade under a different name, but want the protections of the LLC I current have registered.
Can I use a DBA - Do Business As - to trade under a different name, tied to the Washington State LLC I have had the past two years and with the LLC protections?
The alternative, as I understand is for me to file a Certificate of Amendment in Washington State using - https//www.sos.wa.gov/corps/limitedliab ilitycompaniesllc.aspx - are there advantages to changing the LLC Business Name rather than filing for a DBA?
