What is the name of your state? ny. my husband has joint custody of his 16 year old son. we were just informed by some court papers regarding something else that his uncle was given full custody by the mother 4 1/2 months ago in another county. shouldn't we have been informed of this when it happened so we could have tried to get full custody? and what do we have to do to make sure the support is going to the uncle and not the mother? .
