I live in North Dakota. I recently had my brother move in with me because my dad was having marriage problems with his new wife. The environment he is raised in with my dad involves drugs and alcohol. I asked for custody to my dad because I can get more help with rent and stuff. More help than my dad is providing me. My brother does not want to go back to live with our dad and I don't want him to be raised in that type of enviroment. My dad said he would not give me custody and wants to take him as soon as the opportunity arises. My mom and dad's divorce was hard on my brother. And my dad's new marriage is just like the last one he had. Drug, alcohol, fighting, etc. I want to keep my brother away from that. Would (or should) I contest custody?
