What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I have a divorce pending, husband and I have been separated for 8 months I relocated with my 4 year old son, whom I have been the sole provider for since his birth.. Husband had not worked in over 4 years. I received a court order to relocate to the marital home which no longer exists and re-enroll my son in a school that I can no longer afford. Can I contest this order successfully?

Maybe. When did you receive the order?

More importantly, why didn't you bring those things up during the hearing?

I didn't realize what was going on, the hearing was initially scheduled as the final hearing for the divorce but I submitted a motion to dismiss petition, therefore, didn't realize that this was a hearing regarding my relocation. My attorney withdrew from my case on that day and his attorney asked for full custody, I informed that judge that I have been the sole provider since my child's birth, judge did not grant him custody but just said that the child needed to be in the county where we lived. I didn't realize what had taken place until I recieved the court order in the mail...

OP, please close this thread and add your posts to the other thread.

Or vice versa.

Thanks!

I advise the poster to obey the court order and move her child back to the original location where Dad lives.

Other than that, I won't help this poster. She has some of the dirtiest hands I've seen here in a while. <vomit>

Whoa, what am I missing?!

She only has four posts from what I can see...none of which seem to be particularly vomit-worthy?

Did she delete?
