What is the name of your state? NY

A lawyer from Cyprus wants to take the New York bar examination. She is exempt from all of the schooling requirements here in the U.S. so all she has to do is take the bar exam. Can she come her just on a tourist visa for 6 months so she can study for and take the bar exam?

Yes, but she must retain her admittance receipt for visiting the Statue of Liberty to prove that she actually did some touring on her tourist visa.

Edit: You did intend to say that she meets the requirements of schooling, and not exempt from them, correct?

The 'tourist' visa is a 2-parter---a B visa can be for touring OR 'business'.
