What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado

I have been accuessed for the second time of someting I did not do. The first time was three years ago. The DA decided not to persue the case for lack of evidence. I was never arrested and the matter was dropped. Then in October of 2010 the parties involved brought the matter up again. The DA and ther Police have been investagating since October. I have not been arrested or even questioned. The Police have called me a couple a times and I refurred them to my Attorney. The Police did not save the paper work from the original investigation and neither did my Atttorney, who won't return my phone calls. My question is how long can the DA hold me in limbo. Does the DA have a certain amount of time to proscute or drop the matter. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

It doesn't sound like your attorney would have anything to tell you at this point that you don't already know. The ball is in their court. You're doing your part by not talking to them.

you need to find the statute of limitation for this alleged crime in the state's code, which can be found online at:
