We bought a Motorcycle through a cycle shop in Mi.. The bike was shiped to us through a air shipping company here in Florida. Our problem is that when we got home and opened the crate, the bike was damaged. It looks like the fork lift scraped the bottom of the bike through the openings in the crate. At the time when we picked up the motorcycle, they asked us to sign off on the bike, I refused, sense I had not seen the bike as of yet. They told us they didnt have the tools to open the crate for us to see inside. But we could not have the bike till we signed off on it. So i wrote on the form that I had not see the bike, hoping that would help if there was damage. Now the company is refusing to pay for the damages saying, we sign off on it. Understand that this bike has a $5000.00 paint job on it. It has cost us $560.00 to have just the fairings painted. What leagl rights do I have?
