This sounds silly but woodpeckers have been making holes in the wooden siding on the back of our house almost all summer long and I was wondering if homeowners insurance would pay to replace the siding or if it would be a waste of time to try to file a claim.

You might call your ins. agt. & ask. It should depend on your policy provisions & what is all covered/excluded from your coverage.

Read your policy first. Most times animal damage is not covered. Then remember you have a deductible. Would this even meet your part?
