What is the name of your state? Pa
for those that have been keeping track of this situation, i wont go over the whole thing,
this message is in regards to the list of damages that i received after 38 days of moving out of the house. The landlord sent by certified mail the list of damages however it was sent to the old addy, the united states post office has the new forwarded address, this piece of mail was post marked august 30 and we did not recieve it until september 8..and it did not have the yellow sticker on with the new addy..however her attorney sent a piece of mail date stamped september 5 and we received it september 9,
here are the questions regarding the damages. the lease states one hundred dollars in repairs, does this mean ALL REPAIRS??
i paid 250 in repairs and have yet to receive any bills regarding these, i do have a copy of the canceled checks.
second if i make payments for some of the items on the damage list and she cashes them will this state that she is accepting payments?
third there was a hole in the basement wall that was patched she wants to repaint the whole basement, should we pay for the whole basement to be painted or just the patched area.. the house was never painted before or after we took resident of the property, three long years ago..
also i am not or have never been on this lease and husband is still in kuwait, i can not just make out checks with out discussing things with my husband.. and its not like he is next to the phone, there is a conflict going on there and yet this landlord has called sent letters and such,

i want to block her number, is this a good thing to do??

when do i just give up, this has taken its toll on me, dont know when my hubby will return and every night you hear soilders being killed.. and to make matters worse she knows he is gone, and yet insists on this, my sister remembers when we moved into the house and saw how the kitchen floor was ripped, this is the same floor that she wants us to pay to be replaced..
