What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee.

I have a 17 year old friend who is crushing on a guy who is in the Army. He's 20, so the relationship would be considered perfectly legal in the state of Tennessee, however, since he's in the Army does that prohibit him in any way from dating her? She turns 18 in March and he recently turned 20.

Dating is fine (as long as her parents agree to it.) However, I assume you're talking about engaging in sexual activity, not just dating. If she's smart, she'll not be jumping into bed with him until she actually gets to KNOW him. She can wait until March, get to know him, and then she doesn't have to worry about getting him in trouble.
