What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Connecticut. Daughter drove into unleashed dog that ran into road. Witness saw accident and agreed it was dog's fault. Dog owner admits to dog being at fault, however has not provided insurance information (home or auto) on his part. Daughter's auto insurance would probably pay for repair (aprox. $1067) but she does not want to see her rates increase nor have the mark on her insurance record. Can anyone provide guidance on her rights?
