My state is Arizona. My situation is my son's father on ocassion wants to keep him a week here and a week there, whenever the mood strikes him. I have NO problem with my ex spending time with our son, however our son is in daycare during the day and his father is paying ZERO for any daycare expenses. I have given him the option he can pay for that week of daycare ($190 for the week) that he wants to spend time with our son. He does not want to do that! I find it extremely unfair that I have to solely pay for daycare $760 a month and my ex feels he can just pull our son out to spend a week here or there whenever he wants.

I have even stated to my ex that if he would like to watch our son everyday he can do so. He says he doesn't know exactly what days he would be able to watch him and he can't do it everyday.

Because I won't allow him just to throw my money away he keeps threatening me by saying 'I'm approaching a slippery slope." As if to say I could loose custody of our son because I won't give him what he wants. That I don't get because I'm only following the court order that we both agreed to. Whenever my ex wants to spend time with our son I make arrangements for that to happen. I am only opposed to my ex pulling him out of daycare for a week at a time when I'm paying for it.

Am I approaching a "slippery slope" by not allowing him to pull our son from daycare whenever he wants even though the court order outlines me being the custodial parent and I'm following the court order we both agreed upon?

In October my ex had objections to our agreement but when he found out that he would have to provide updated paystubs he withdrew his objections because he had a new job and was making a lot more money. Which meant that I had to have my attorney petition to go back to court to get the child support modified, which was just done in November, so we are awaiting to go to court.
