What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

Our company has a pilot/traffic division. The employees in this section get paid a day rate for work. Example: over 6 hours High Pole car drive would get $200 a day. Under 6 hours would get half day rate. Is this type of pay legal, I can't find anything in the law that covers day rates. If the employee would work 24 hours straight is would work out to 7.5 an hour although this rarely occurs. normal days are anywhere between 10 and 14 hours. After 40 total hours though the rates do not change. If the employee is attending a meeting or training they are given an hourly rate of $10.

As long as they receive no less than minimum wage times hours worked, it's legal.
