I run a daycare out of my home. Last Monday one of my parents called me and informed me that their children had been exposed to chicken pox. They let me know that they had their vaccinations. I later found out that the vaccine isn't given to children under the age of one. The parents said that they knew that they signed a contract, but if they still had to pay for the time the kids would miss. They contacted a doctor that said that there was no way they could find out if they were going to get it until they broke out in a rash. They came that week.
Throughout the week I had some behavior problems with their older child. I had talked to them on Wed. and Fri. When I spoke to them on Fri. they told me that they would decide what they were going to do. Later that evening they called me back and informed me that their child had a bite mark on his back. I had no knowledge of this. They accused me of not supervising their child and informed me that they knew about the two week notice if they were going to pull their children out, but felt that they were not responsible for that charge.
Just wondering if I would have a case against these parents??
