What is the name of your state? Calif.. can a dead beat dad working in alaska on a fishing boat have his checks garnished from me or the state of calif? or is he too far out of reach? Thank you.

If he is actually recieving a paycheck it can be garnished. However if he is working on a fishing boat its possible that he is not recieving an actual paycheck from a company....his pay could be structured in some other way.
