I do not see an easy way out of the car purchase.

A drive around the block, by the way, is rarely a good enough test of a used car (unless one's trusted mechanic is located around the block :)).

Options can be explored with an Illinois attorney, though, if you are intent on a return and refund.

Good. But if driving gives you migraines and makes you vomit, I would avoid driving until you are examined by your physician.
Only in this car. Never happened in my truck or my finances car which I am driving now and she is driving the new car. It has to do with the head rest does not adjust in new car and it is constantly pushing forward on my head.

And my question was about the paper work, not the disability issues. How can it be a binding contract if they did not give us a signed copy with both parties signatures.

I thought I explained that. You can go to the dealership for the paperwork. A legal contract was formed when you agreed to the dealership's offer by signing the contract and paying the dealership and driving away with the car.

Good luck.

Here is a link to the DuPage County Bar Association that discusses the validity of unsigned contracts: https://www.dcba.org/mpage/vol250713art1

Your question was answered and links to your state's attorney general's office and used car buying publication and, now, a County Bar Association article, were provided to support these answers.

But you are welcome to consult with an attorney in your area. You could try AttorneyPages.com.

Good luck.

Thank you Quincy. I'll add this.I went to another car dealership to try and get out of this car. He was seeing what he could do with the numbers etc. He then called me 2 days later and said the finance manager looked at the contract and said if they failed to put the lending banks info in and did not sign it. It can be terminated ?

You could check with an attorney in your area about the omission of the finance company's name. But the fact that the contract was unsigned generally does not make the contract invalid if the other elements of contract formation are met (which, it appears, is the case with your car purchase).

The "?" indicates a question. :)

I don't believe an omission of the finance company's name makes the contract invalid, if the terms of financing appear. But I could be wrong.
Sorry Quincy, I hit the wrong keys on tablet a lot. It was suppose to be a period.

You can go back to the dealer to ask about the inconsistencies and omissions.

Your fiancée has been driving the vehicle since purchase, correct?
