What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

Dealer promised installation of spray in bed liner in new car purchasing contract. Had bed liner sprayed in by their local Rhino liner contractor.
When picked up bed liner had to find truck in back of lot and all tie downs had been sprayed over.

The dealer blamed their contractor but promised to have contractor resolve the issue. Now dealer says truck sustained body damage to door while at contractor and wants me to pick up truck and work directly with their contractor. The dealer picked the truck up at the contractor and took it to their lot before contacting me.

There is the body damage and my concern is that I lose a lot of value on the truck as the dealership expects the contractors shop insurance is supposed to cover the damage.

Since this is there contractor and that they picked up the truck with the damage that they are responsible. How do we address the loss of value due to the damage caused by their contractor? Can the dealer be made to buy back the truck?
