Colorado. I just purchased a new vehicle. After test driving they repaired a recall issue while I was finalizing paperwork. During the repairs, they did something incorrect that caused the engine to make horribly wrong noises as well as produce smoke about a mile from the lot. I called and returned immediately, they admit to an error and fixed the issue. I am asking for a new vehicle (same vehicle, just not a damaged engine), what are my options?

Your options are to enjoy your vehicle. Given the description I suspect there has been no damage.

If there is damage, have them repair it
