Dealership cant provide vehicle title after 60 days.

Oklahoma Used Car dealership sold me a car. I paid cash and signed all of the As is contracts and normal paperwork. They told me that I should receive the title in the mail within 30 days to get it all transferred in to my name.

30 days later and still no title. The dealership said that when they got the vehicle as a trade in they never received a title and are trying to contact the old owners to get that title. They then gave me a new paper tag to extend me for another 30 days.

It has now been 60 days and I still have not received the title and they wont return my phone calls. can i take them the vehicle and demand a refund? at what point does the sale get voided? I cant tag my vehicle or get it registered to me without a title.

Sure. But do you really think that's going to work with the scummy car dealer you bought the car from?

I suggest you visit the MVD with that form and your paperwork and see if it works. If not, get another 30 days permit (or 45 days) and file a complaint with the licensing agency.

Then you can go confront the dealer. When somebody doesn't take your calls you go to him.
