What is the name of your state? Texas

I recently purchased a used car from a dealership. The whole time the salesperson and finance manager said that the car was a 2002. The contracts that I have say the vehicle is a 2002. I have since learned that the vehicle is a 2001 model and I feel as if the price I paid was not worth a 2001 model. What are my rights?

Can you tell me what information you have that indicated to you that the vehicle is a 2001 model rather than a 2002? Do you have paperwork stating that you were purchasing a 2002 model? I need more information please. Thank you

The contract and purchase order that I received from the dealeship clearly states that I purchased a 2002 model. However when I recieved, the information from the finance company it congratulated me on the purchase of my 2001 vehicle. This started me to thinking and when I asked my husband he said that if I looked on the inside of the door it would say what model year it was. Sure enough when I looked in the door it said 2001.
