What is the name of your state? Texas
I purchased a 1995 3000GT at a dealership. Before buying I had inquired if there were any malfunctions in the car but was told there were none. Took the car home and stored it in my garage, since the car had out-of-state registration sticker and inspection sticker (came from Louisiana). When I finally received the registration sticker (about 4 weeks later) I went to get the car tested for the inspection sticker. The car failed.
Is the dealership responsible for making necessary adjustments for the car to pass state inspection (at no cost to me)? Is the dealership responsible for issuing me a current state inspection sticker? If not then what help can I get, since I had no idea that the car would not pass inspection. By the way the car has been driven for a maximum of (no more than) 500 miles since the car was purchased.
