What is the name of your state? Illinois. A few months ago I wrote in about an Insurance question. I have since then been informed that my Mother has received the death benefits claim form from Metropolitan life insurance company. She submitted the claim forms now about three weeks ago, and haven't heard from Metlife. My question is a two part question. Why when the claim forms came it did not disclose the amount of the policy, and secondly what is the standard amount of time before an insurance company issues the actual check. Thanks for your time.
