i live in the state of ohio. my daughter in law has a financial company driving her nuts. If they do not call 8-10 times a day they are knocking on our door. Is there anything we can do about this harrassment???

Knocking on your door ??? This must be a local finance company, none of the big ones would send a collector to your door.

Since this sounds like an original creditor, they are not bound by the FDCPA, but there ARE limits and it sounds like you could file a complaint against them for harrassment. If they're knocking on your door, call the police - they're tresspassing !

What kind of debt is it and how far behind on payments is she ?
