Well Quincy we are still trying to track down the lease agreement. If we could ever get our hands on that it may be able to clear up some of these questions.
Tell the debt collector to put up or shut up - in other words, tell them to either stop contacting daughter or sue her. Once she's sued, you'll be able to ask for a copy of their evidence.

Correction: She'll be able to ask for a copy.

I agree that having a copy of the agreement can answer some of the questions you have. :)
